| To register for our service, all members must first register for our free evalution membership. As a free member, you will be given an evaluation period of 30 days with limited functions (described in the table below). During this evaluation period you will be able to upgrade at any time. Once the evaluation period has ended, you will have an extra 15 days to preserve any family data created during your evaluation period by upgrading to full membership. If you choose not to upgrade before this extra period of time expires then you will still be able to upgrade to full membership at any later date but please note that any family data created during the evaluation period will be lost. It is not necessary to become a full member in order to visit or update other family trees as a result of receiving invitations. After your evaluation period, this function will remain active and you will be able to log in and enter more invitations to visit other people's family trees. |

| IMPORTANT NOTE: | Joining as a full member within the 15 days after expiration of a 30 day free evaluation membership will avoid loss of any data which you have set up during the evaluation period. Data and photos linked to evaluation memberships that have expired more than 15 days ago will be removed from the Family Tree Discovery system and will not be recoverable. |
